Meet the Artist Sue DeLille

Hello and welcome,

My name is Sue DeLille. My friends call me WhiteSmoke or Smoke, originally named for the mist that comes up from the mountains in the early morning hours. I've been told that it's easy to remember since most of my work carries the faint smell of the smoked hides.

Preserving the techniques and skills of the ancient arts, I strive to keep them truly alive by bringing my own vision and creativity into the work and by achieving a distinct style of my own.

For over eighteen years I have exhibited at various juried shows, competitions, rendezvous, and living history events. If you would like to see these works in person, please check out the Event Schedule page.

And let me say thank you to my husband Joe for all the hours of photography work he does for us.
